Peterborough Ex Rabbit, Cavy and Sheep Show Results
Fraserville, ON – As part of the 2022 Peterborough Exhibition, the Peterborough Agricultural
Society held their annual Rabbit and Cavy Show and Sheep Achievement Day at Kawartha
Downs on August 5th.

these events at their facilities. It’s encouraging to see youth engagement through our sheep
show and the rabbit and cavy show is always a family favourite. ”
The two events were showcased as part of the Kawartha Downs Agricultural Fair. While the
sheep show is specifically for youth exhibitors it offers an opportunity for young farmers to gain
experience raising and handling animals for show. The rabbit and cavy show is open to any
breeder and attracts a wide variety of breeds.
